John Summit is a young rising star in the House and Techno music communities and represented by Metatone. Metatone partnered with Minimist for their own website, and continues to return to create online representation for their artists.
The design direction here is cheerful, energetic and minimal to match John’s fun, youthful demeanor and present only the most relevant info. The unique navigation always brings visitors back to the home page, ensuring visitors have a chance to see every part of the site.
The main objective was to display only the most relevant info & detail, make everything easy to find & navigate to, and make it easy to consistently update with up-to-date content. This is achieved by pulling dynamic content down from embeds such as Soundcloud and Bandsintown feeds. The easy-to use backend blogging feature makes it incredibly easy to post new news about upcoming shows, interviews and new tracks. The news feed can be updated on desktop and mobile with the accompanying app.
